Aarhus Street Food

Over 30 stands, bars and pop-up kitchens flex their gastro muscle seven days a week in a converted bus station. Open with a smørrebrød, roll yourself up burrito style then bánh mì from making a Vietnamese pun.

Central Food Market

This ginormous food mecca, in the middle of Sankt Knuds Torv square in the Indre By area, sees foodies weaving in between indoor and outdoor stalls to snack on seasonal delicacies.

Mad & Market

Mad & Market ('mad' means food in Danish) is a pop-up streetfood market offering delights from the world over, prepared fresh while you wait. Its trademark caravan tends to make appearances at major foodie events. Visit the website to find out where they’ll be popping up while you’re in town.

Ingerslevs Boulevard

Locals flock here on Wednesdays and Saturdays with baskets, totes and other sustainable weaves to gather their bread, vegetables, meat and flowers for the week. Remember to nab some local organic honey to take home and a thirdwave coffee to go.

Flea Market at Godsbanen

Come for the regular flea market in this former train station in Indre By, then stay for a bit of nosh after you finish shopping. There are usually a number of pop-up options – often local, organic and very good.
